For a long time, I have heard that bad teeth can lead to heart problems. My former dentist also says the same thing. Even the Dental Hygienist agrees. However, I did read a news story that the evidence is inconclusive. It’s not possible to say that bad teeth lead to a bad heart according to the news story that I read.

My son is 24 years old. He’s on SSI and has Medicaid. For him to get dental work, he needs to have general anesthesia. However, his Medicaid doesn’t cover this type of dental service.
