Website launched to assist injured workers
“We are very proud of this program and want to do the best job we can communicating what services and resources are available,” said Project Help Director Viona Latschaw. “I encourage everyone to explore the new site and, hopefully, they will take away information to help them — or their members — successfully navigate the workers’ compensation system.”
Latschaw says the website is still a work in progress and that more information will continually be added. She plans to do outreach to stakeholders and other users to find out what information is most helpful, and to make sure it is easily accessible at the site.
The goals of Project Help are to:
- Expedite claims resolution
- Ensure that all rights are preserved and protected
- Reduce unnecessary litigation
- Provide information and assistance, free of charge
- Offer educational workshops on the fundamentals of workers’ compensation
