Job Seekers’ Update helps navigate ‘maze’ of resources
The Worker Center publishes a quarterly Job Seekers’ Update that lists resources available in the Puget Sound area for people looking for work. It’s a comprehensive list describing all of the area’s government agencies, schools, apprenticeship programs, job hotlines and other helpful vocational and employment services, including contact information for each.
The publication also includes a calendar of job fairs, workshops, classes and events offered that quarter, all of which are either free or provided at low costs.
Check out the just-released Summer 2012 edition of the Job Seekers’ Update, and share it with anyone you know in the Puget Sound area who is looking for work or wanting to advance their careers. For more information, contact the Worker Center at 206-441-8408.
