Young Leaders Summit will be July 20-21 in Wenatchee
With the theme “A Fighting Chance,” this exciting two-day summit is designed to engage and foster the political development of emerging young leaders in Washington state. Attendees will learn how to effectively use political organizing to bring about progressive and impactful changes so that anyone can affect the change they wish to see in their own community.
Civic engagement and political activism have been at the forefront of social change and iconic movements throughout America’s history. The Young Leaders Summit is committed to providing the skills and knowledge needed to give young people a fighting chance against oppressive institutional powers. This year’s Summit will include engaging, hands-on workshops, interesting panels, and motivational speakers from all over the state.
Attendance is open for all those who are interested in making a positive difference in their community through the use of civic engagement and political action. Participants with a broad range of political organizing experience and skills are being sought. No prior exposure is necessary.
