Labor Agency needs drivers, volunteers, hygiene products
But most know the PSLA for its Food Bank, operated out of the Seattle Labor Temple from 8 a.m. to noon Monday and Friday, which is a vital resource for the community, providing groceries and other necessities to families in need.
The PSLA has an urgent and immediate need for the following:
VOLUNTEER DRIVERS during the week to help with grocery rescue pick-ups. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required. One driver is needed each day.
- Monday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Wednesday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Thursday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Friday 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Saturday 9 a.m. – Noon (occasional)
VOLUNTEER HELPERS in the Food Bank, Monday and/or Friday from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (need 3-4 volunteers each day).
HYGIENE PRODUCTS: If you travel, bring home the toiletries and donate them to us. The type of items we are looking for: soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, feminine products, dental floss, etc.
