Wednesday will be National “No Fast Track” Call-In Day
(Jan. 20, 2015) — As you read this, the White House has launched a full-court press to pressure democrats in Congress to support “fast track” legislation that would speed approval of major trade agreements — which have been negotiated in secret — without Congressional debate and amendment.
That’s why everyone who opposes trade deals that kill jobs and empower international corporations to usurp state and federal laws must contact their representatives in Congress NOW!
Well, not quite NOW… how about TOMORROW?
Wednesday, Jan. 21, the AFL-CIO is planning a National “No Fast Track” Call-in Day. Tomorrow, The Stand will post the toll-free phone number for you to call your U.S. Representative and urge him or her to REJECT fast track.
