Supplies Save Lives: Donate unused personal protective gear
The following is from SuppliesSaveLivesWA.org:
(March 19, 2020) — Washington state health care workers are running out of safety equipment to protect themselves on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Nurses, health professionals, service and maintenance workers, and firefighters are on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis, but they are running out of critical Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) like masks, gowns, eye protection and gloves. If health care workers and first responders contract COVID-19 because they are unable to protect themselves while treating patients, the result will be catastrophic for our entire state.
This is a crisis, and it will require extraordinary steps and sacrifice from all of us to save as many lives as possible.
Donate your unused masks and help save lives. Do you work at or own a construction company, medical or dental office, or other organization with an inventory of potentially life-saving personal protective equipment? Donate your unopened boxes of masks (N95 preferred), gowns, eye protection, and gloves to keep front-line health care workers healthy so they can save lives!
All donated supplies must be in unopened boxes. All supplies will be allocated to Washington state hospitals and first responders treating COVID-19 patients.
