Buy union-made meals for frontline healthcare workers

SEATTLE (May 6, 2020) — National Nurses Week begins today and ends on May 12, which is Florence Nightingale’s birthday. One way you can show your appreciation for nurses and other frontline healthcare workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic is to buy them a good union-cooked meal. And MLK Labor has made that easy for you.

MLK Labor has set up a GoFundMe account to provide meals for the health care workers are on the front lines of serving our communities during this time of crisis. Every $15 raised will provide one meal cooked by a UNITE HERE Local 8 member at the Seattle University Cafeteria and will go to a frontline health care worker helping with the coronavirus response.
