Join UW Harry Bridges Center as it honors students, faculty Nov. 9
SEATTLE (Nov. 4, 2021) — Join the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies for a special evening on Zoom as it honors student and faculty achievements and raises funds for Labor Studies at the University of Washington. This event — from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9 — is free and open to the public. Register today!
The event’s keynote speaker will be Kent Wong, Director of the UCLA Labor Center, a longtime model for collaboration between higher education and the labor movement. The Harry Bridges center will also be recognizing the newly organized UW Libraries Union and honoring state Sen. Karen Keiser (D-Des Moines).
