Join WSLC for Regional Jobs & Economic Forums April 26-27

OLYMPIA (April 6, 2022) — The Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO Workforce Development Department invites labor leaders and rank-and-file members, workforce and economic development professionals, policymakers, community groups, and the interested public to upcoming virtual WSLC Regional Jobs & Economic Outlook Forums.

These will be data-heavy forums about jobs, industries and economic trends by regions across Washington. It’s an opportunity to learn what state and federal research tells us about the changing landscape of employment and the workforce in specific areas of our state.

This conversation is vital as we navigate an economic recovery not equitably felt by workers across the state or within our communities. Robust economic and labor market data, and meaningful analysis, are vital to guiding investments and policies to support all of Washington’s working families.

Regional Labor Economists from the Washington State Employment Security Department (ESD) will present at each WSLC-hosted forum. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A and online resources will be shared to further understand the job and economic landscape for workers, job seekers, and employers.

Please join us at any of the below forums, which collectively cover the entire state:
