Join rally outside Starbucks HQ on Sept. 13

SEATTLE — Union busting is disgusting!

That’s a message that needs to be delivered to Starbucks management and investors at a time their company is illegally firing union supporters, illegally denying them raises, and committing other Unfair Labor Practices to stop their employees from joining together in a union.

That’s why all union members and community supporters of Starbucks workers are urged to join in a rally and protest in support of Starbucks workers at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13 outside Starbucks corporate headquarters, 2401 Utah Ave. S. in Seattle. (Download and share the event flier.)

Don’t miss this event. This is the labor community’s opportunity to stand together with Starbucks workers and show solidarity with their cause. Make sure you attend and wear your Union colors!

TAKE A STAND — In the meantime, please sign the No Contract, No Coffee! Pledge to Act in Solidarity with Starbucks Workers United.

The Stand (Sept. 5) — Fair elections are under attack—at work (by WSLC President Larry Brown) — This Labor Day, union-busting by Starbucks and Amazon have made Seattle the epicenter of shameful efforts to undermine workplace democracy. We must hold them accountable.
