SMT offers Oct. 25 training on building digital campaign plans

Social Movement Technologies (SMT) is a unionized non-profit organization that provides organizing strategy, training and campaign support — collaborating with activists around the world — to build power for people in the digital age.

SMT is offering Developing Your Digital Campaign Plan, a 90-minute virtual training session to help unions and community organizations build effective online/offline campaign plans, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific time on Wednesday, Oct. 25. The Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO is an SMT Outreach Partner, so WSLC-affiliated unions can get discounted registration. Register now for this training.

This training is a guided walk-through of the 6-page plan template that SMT has developed and refined over 10 years of working with hundreds of groups.

From building your list, to activating a pipeline of supporters, to measuring progress and impact, picking the right tools, deciding which channels to prioritize for what, cultivating media and lots more, the template walks you through the questions to address in an organized way to build an effective plan for your team and your work.
