Volunteer for Labor Neighbor

Join the WSLC’s powerful people-to-people political program to activate union members

SEATTLE (July 1, 2024) — Labor Neighbor, the grassroots member-to-member political action program of the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, engages union members to inform fellow union members and their families about the candidates who earned labor’s endorsement — and why they earned it.

We know that member-to-member conversations are the most effective way to increase civic engagement. As union members, we know that participation matters. Just imagine the candidates we could elect if every union member turned out to vote.

That’s why participation in Labor Neighbor is so important; our groundwork can be the difference between electing pro-worker candidates, or folks who don’t represent or listen to working communities.

Make sure your voice is heard and that we elect candidates who listen! Volunteer for Labor Neighbor activities and urge your Union siblings and co-workers to do the same. Check the following schedule and fill out the volunteer form (Labor Neighbor Volunteer (aflcio.org)) today! Contact WSLC Political & Strategic Campaigns Director Osta Davis at odavis@wslc.org with any questions.
