Project HELP’s biennial workers’ compensation conference returns October 10

SEATTLE, WA (September 23, 2024) — Every two years, this forum brings together labor, business, workers’ compensation professionals, and others interested in Washington’s critical safety net for injured workers for the Meeting of the Minds conference, sponsored by the Project Help program.

Registration is now open for the 2024 “Meeting of the Minds” Conference via Zoom Webinar. Project HELP has put together a fantastic lineup of topics and speakers sharing information on recent changes to laws, rules and administrative policies.

This year’s conference will be Thursday, October 10, 2024 8:30am to 4:00pm.  Topics covered will include Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Independent Medical Examinations, Work Rehabilitation and Program Overview for Utilization Review, Stay at Work and Preferred Worker Program, Vocational Rehabilitation Services for H-2A Workers and BIIA Significant Decisions and Recent Cases.

Conference speakers are from the Department of Labor and Industries Self-Insurance Section, Return to Work Partnership, Utilization Review Unit, Office of the Medical Director, Advanced Vocational Solutions and The Board of Industrial Appeals.

The 2024 Meeting of the Minds webinar is a great opportunity to earn legal, vocational and Self-Insurance continuing education credits.  This years’ webinar has been approved for the following credits:
