University of Washington is well known as a center of ground-breaking research, across disciplines. Research Coordinators and Consultants are are some of the key workers who make that reputation possible.

On Tuesday, the workers demonstrated their unity marching to the President’s office in Gerberding Hall, where they delivered the petition confirming their filing and joining other public service workers to rally in Red Square.

In filing for their union, the workers join hundreds of fellow workers both at UW and other higher education institutions across the US who are fighting for a voice on the job.
