APALA Banquet: Forward Together

Register now for APALA Seattle’s annual banquet and silent auction supporting their work empowering AAPI workers

SEATTLE, WA (January 14, 2025) — Labor supporters are invited to attend the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, Seattle Chapter 26th Annual Fundraising Banquet and Silent Auction on January 31.

This year’s theme, “Forward Together: Protect Our Democracy,” calls labor to action. In the words of the organizers: “Over the past year, we’ve seen relentless attacks to erode workers’ and immigrants’ rights and undermine hard-won protections. With the general election’s outcome and the prolonged fight for a fair worker’s contract, we cannot relent. We must remain steadfast, united, and ready to push back against every attempt to silence or exploit our communities. Join our Asian American Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander communities as we come together to advance a democratic movement for social justice and safeguard our democracy for future generations.

The event will take place at the Jerry Brockey Center, South Seattle College from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31. Early bird tickets are $100 regular, $60 youth/students/seniors, and $800 for a table of 8. Prices increase by $10 after January 27.
