Defend immigrant workers

Join the AFL-CIO, MLK Labor, and the WSLC for an organizing training focused on fighting back against threats of mass deportation

SEATTLE, WA (January 16, 2025) — As the incoming administration readies to take office, organized labor is preparing to defend our immigrant siblings from threats of mass deportation and family separation. Join the AFL-CIO, MLK Labor and the WSLC for Frontline Solidarity: A Mass Deportation Fight-Back Training for Union Organizers and Activists, a skills-building training for defending fellow workers targeted by deportation threats.

The training will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Seattle Labor Temple (5030 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134 US). Register here

The Frontline Solidarity training seeks to equip labor and community organizers and advocates with the necessary information to navigate escalating attacks on immigrant workers and their families. It includes general materials to help unions and workers prepare, as well as specific guidance related to a range of policy changes and enforcement actions we must expect as part of the mass deportation agenda.

Space is limited, register today.
