Celebrate Día de los Muertos
Join LCLAA PNW for an evening gathering honoring loved ones and building community
The following is from the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement PNW:
YAKIMA, WA (October 28, 2025) — We are excited to invite you to our annual Día de los Muertos celebration in Yakima, WA—a cherished tradition that brings together culture, community, and union solidarity in one vibrant space.
This year, we are proud to have the support of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 3000 and dedicated member leaders from WA Beef, who are both volunteering and sponsoring this special event.
Our celebration will feature an altar (ofrenda) honoring our loved ones who have passed, along with live music, face painting, tamales, champurrado, and karaoke.
We hope you can join us in person. If you’re unable to attend, you can still participate by sending digital photos of your loved ones for inclusion on our community altar. You can also help us continue building community and unity by making a donation to the LCLAA PNW Chapter.
Together, we honor our roots, celebrate our traditions, and strengthen our collective spirit.
Nos complace invitarlos a nuestra celebración anual del Día de los Muertos en Yakima, WA, una tradición que une la cultura, la comunidad y el poder de Unión en un mismo espacio lleno de vida y significado.
Este año, contamos con el valioso apoyo de United Food and Commercial Workers Local 3000 y de los líderes miembros de WA Beef, quienes están participando como voluntarios y patrocinadores de este hermoso evento.
Tendremos un altar (ofrenda) para honrar a nuestros seres queridos que han partido, además de música en vivo, pintura facial, tamales, champurrado y karaoke.
Esperamos que puedan acompañarnos en persona. Si no pueden asistir, los invitamos a enviar fotos digitales de sus seres queridos para incluirlas en nuestro altar comunitario. También pueden apoyar nuestros esfuerzos por seguir construyendo comunidad y mantener nuestra unidad fuerte mediante una donación al Capítulo LCLAA PNW.
