Peaceful Seattle rally for immigration reform

SEATTLE (May 2, 2013) — Here are some scenes (click to enlarge the pictures) from yesterday’s completely peaceful and well-organized May Day rally and march in Seattle, where thousands of people — including a strong contingent of union members — called for comprehensive immigration reform that includes a path to citizenship.

Commercial media reports this morning are focusing on the violence and arrests of a small group of black-clad anarchists who clashed with police later last night, long after the very successful rally and march had ended.
