Celebrate Medicare’s birthday Saturday in downtown Seattle

Medicare-b-day-ARAAdvocates for strengthening and securing Medicare will celebrate Medicare’s birthday on Saturday, July 27, starting at 3 p.m. at the Seattle Center South Fountain Lawn. Participants will walk through downtown Seattle to Victor Steinbruek Park handing out information on the importance of Medicare and the threats it faces. (See the event flier.)

Since this is a birthday celebration, there will be balloons and noisemakers as well as signs, music and theater. All are welcome to join in the festivities.

This event is sponsored by Washington Alliance for Retired Americans, Healthcare Now – Washington, and Physicians for a National Health Program – Western WA Chapter.
