Turn in peanut butter to PCCLC by May 13

The following is from the Pierce County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO:

14-peanut-butter-haul-pcclcTACOMA (April 22, 2015) — Last year, members of union locals affiliated with the Pierce County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO donated and delivered 5,512 jars of peanut butter —  almost 4 ½ tons! As phenomenal as that was, every jar was gone from the Emergency Food Bank shelves within two months.

This year our brothers and sisters from Letter Carriers Branch 130 will once again help tally peanut butter at the May 13 Delegate Meeting. To help beat the total from last year, here’s what you can do:

Download/copy this flyer and distribute it to your members, co-workers, friends, and family members.

► Remind them to please buy their peanut butter at a Union grocery store.

► Turn in all peanut butter donations to the Labor Council no later than the May 13 Delegate Meeting.

► ALL peanut butter brands will be gratefully accepted. Hungry children don’t pay attention to labels.
