Save the date: UW Labor Studies Banquet will be Nov. 10

SEATTLE (Sept. 10, 2019) — Each year, the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies at the University of Washington honors students and faculty making a difference for the labor movement with their activism and research. In 2019, the Bridges Center will award more than $70,000 in scholarships and grants.

On Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, all are invited to join the Bridges Center and the Labor Archives of Washington for dinner and drinks at the 2019 UW Labor Studies Banquet from 5 to 8 p.m. in the North Ballroom of the Husky Union Building at the UW Seattle campus. At the banquet, they will formally announce the year’s awards, recognize the generous support of their community, and outline their agenda for the coming year.

Tickets are free, but due to high attendance, they ask that you please RSVP in advance, so save the date and register now right here.

To raise funds for labor studies at the University of Washington, they are offering the chance to sponsor the banquet at two levels:

  • $500 — Table Sponsor: Reserves a table seating 8.
  • $1,000 — Event Sponsor: Reserves a table seating 8 and recognition in the banquet program.

All donations are tax-deductible. Register your sponsorship here.
