Order your 2020 Pacific NW Labor History Calendars now

(Sept. 10, 2019) — The Pacific Northwest Labor History Association (PNLHA), a cross-border group with chapters in Oregon, Washington and British Columbia, is now accepting orders for its 2020 Labor History Calendar. And unions that order them for their stewards, staff, board members, or rank-and-file can order custom imprints with their union’s logo, web address, social media profiles, etc.

The theme of the 2020 calendar is “Celebrate Solidarity,” and while the scope is the Pacific Northwest, the calendar’s topics include themes of interest to those beyond the region as well.

“We’ve been striving to include labor history that puts the history of women and people of color at the forefront and the narratives of individual workers alongside big organizational histories,” said PNLHA President Tom Lux. “In an era where everything has been reduced to memes and tweets, we think of this calendar as a chance for real teachable moments of labor history that most of us were never taught in school.”
