Buy your Halloween candy early, ethically

(Oct. 8, 2016) — If you’re like the Entire Staff of The Stand, you don’t wait until the end of October to stock up on Halloween candy. You get it early. And test it.

Make sure it also passes the ethical test. Buy candy and treats that are Union-made in America.

The Washington State Labor Council’s Union Goods and Services Committee has asked The Stand to regularly post lists of union products to help inform rank-and-file members and supporters what they can buy to support good family-wage jobs.
