Union volunteers needed for FUN Banks

UPDATE (Oct. 19, 2020) — Labor Neighbor FUN Banks continue every weeknight from 5 to 7 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon, and Sundays from noon to 2 p.m. Register now!

This Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 4 p.m. will be a special FUN BANK with calls to union members in the battleground state of Pennsylvania to get out the vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Please register here and indicate you want to volunteer for the Oct. 21 FUN Bank.

 


(Oct. 12, 2020) — Labor Neighbor FUN Banks are in high gear to make sure union members and their families support the election of champions for working people in the election that’s just 22 days away. Ballots are being mailed to voters this week throughout Washington state, so union volunteers are needed NOW to make calls to fellow union members about which candidates have earned labor’s support — and why.

WEEKDAYS and SATURDAYS — FUN Banks are happening every weeknight from 5 to 7 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon, and Sundays from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday’s FUN Bank is a “Player’s Choice” where you can pick which races you all calling on. Sign up here.

The Southwest Washington Central Labor Council is also hosting FUN Banks to support labor-endorsed congressional candidate Carolyn Long, plus important state legislative candidates in SW Washington, from 5 to 7 p.m. on the following days throughout October. Sign up for all dates here.

MLK Labor is hosting a Virtual Canvass for Harborview Bond from 5:30 to 8 p.m. TODAY (Monday, Oct. 12) to call union members in King County about the Harborview Medical Center Bond (King County Proposition 1).
