Sign letter supporting WEC, WCV workers organizing union

The following is from the Evergreen Workers Union, an affiliate of CWA 7800:

SEATTLE (Aug. 26, 2021) — The workers of Washington Environmental Council (WEC) and Washington Conservation Voters (WCV) are proud to stand together as the Evergreen Workers Union, affiliated with Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 7800, to build more just and equitable organizations and environmental movements in Washington state. We are seeking voluntary recognition of our union from the WEC and WCV leadership and boards.

We believe unionizing is an act of care. We are motivated by love and committed to making WEC and WCV a sustainable and healthy workplace in order to be effective agents of change. Read our full Mission & Vision statement.
