Major GOTV rally planned July 29 in Seattle

SEATTLE — U.S. Sen. Patty Murray and other elected officials and labor-endorsed candidates will join Larry Brown and April Sims, the executive officers of the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, at a Labor GOTV (Get Out The Vote) Rally at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, July 29 at the Machinists 751 Hall, 9125 15th Place South in Seattle.

All union members are invited and encouraged to attend, and then to volunteer afterward for neighborhood walks and phone banking to urge union households to vote and return their ballots in the state’s important Aug. 2 primary election.
