Seattle, Spokane premieres of ‘American Hospitals’ on June 22
Attend free film screenings to learn about efforts to incentivize profit-driver hospitals to provide high-quality care with affordable costs
All are invited to the Seattle and Spokane premieres of the provocative new documentary, American Hospitals: Healing a Broken System, which pulls the curtain back on out-of-control costs of hospitals and their transformation into money-making businesses. How did we get here and how can we incentivize hospitals to provide the highest quality care at the lowest cost?
Learn the answers to those questions and hear the call to action from physicians, policymakers, researchers, business leaders and hospital administrators, including Wendell Potter, President of Business Leaders for Health Care Transformation and the Center for Health and Democracy; Dr. Don Berwick, former Chief Administrator at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; Dr. Elisabeth Rosenthal, Editor-in-Chief of Kaiser Health News; and many more.
After the movies at the Seattle premiere, there will be a panel discussion featuring:

The Seattle premiere of American Hospitals will be Thursday, June 22 in the 1st floor auditorium of the Seattle Central Library, 1000 4th Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m., film from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., discussion to follow. Get more information and register today, seats are limited.
