ELECTION

How labor’s endorsed candidates are faring

(Nov. 8, 2023 – 7 a.m.) — Because 2023 is not an election year for statewide and legislative races, the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO didn’t make endorsements. However, the WSLC publicized the endorsements of regional AFL-CIO Central Labor Councils, which have led labor’s local election work and mobilized working people to support worker-first candidates.

Following are unofficial election results as of 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in races where regional CLCs made endorsements. Check the websites of your County Election Office for the latest results in your community. Candidates endorsed/recommended by the AFL-CIO Central Labor Councils are listed in bold, and * denotes candidates who are alums of the WSLC candidate training program Path to Power.
