PCCLC’s Rose Solidarity Award presented to Conway, Sides

TACOMA (Jan. 11, 2024) — The Pierce County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO honored two labor leaders with the annual Rose Solidarity Award during their recent holiday celebration. Washington State Sen. Steve Conway (D-Tacoma) and Kirk Sides (SMART-TD/UTU Local 556) were presented the award for their tireless commitment to bettering the lives of the hard working men and women of Pierce County and Washington state.

“These union brothers deserve to be recognized and celebrated for their work,” said PCCLC President Vance Lelli. “Senator Conway has been a true friend, advisor and champion in Olympia for more than 31 years.”
