TAKE A STAND!

All about love: solidarity actions this weekend

Here are a couple ways to stand with your fellow working people this weekend and beyond

(February 13, 2026) — Valentine’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate love — romantic, platonic, and proletarian. In the words of bell hooks: “The moment we choose to love, we begin to move toward freedom, to act in ways that liberate ourselves and others.” From joining Tanggol Migrante Movement and Machinist brother Maximo Londonio for a celebratory gala tonight, hitting the picket line with Starbucks workers today and Tuesday, joining labor and community for a Sunday action at Target — and a couple virtual actions — here’s how you can spread love and solidarity this Valentine’s Day weekend and beyond.
