WSLC Legislative Reception and Conference will be Feb. 5 & 6
WSLC-affiliated union workers will gather in February at the State Capitol in Olympia to advocate for bold action on pro-worker legislation
UPDATED January 14, 2025 — Union members from across Washington will gather February 5 & 6 in Olympia for the Washington State Labor Council’s annual Legislative Reception and Conference. Hundreds of unionists will join together to learn about labor’s priority bills, hear from policymakers, and meet with legislators and staff.
The 2025 Legislative Reception will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 at the Octapas Heritage Room in Olympia (610 Water St SW, Olympia, WA 98501), with the Legislation Conference the following morning starting at 9:45 a.m. at the Minnaert Center for Performing Arts (2011 Mottman Rd SW, Olympia, WA 98512). Please note the new start time of 9:45 a.m.; doors open at 9 a.m.
All WSLC-affiliated unions have been notified and urged to register now to participate; the earlier you register, the more time for staff to schedule appointments with legislators. More information about registration and hotels can be found below.
OLYMPIA, WA (December 3, 2024) — The Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, the state’s largest union organization representing more than 600 unions with over half a million members, will hold its 2025 Legislative Reception and Conference in Olympia on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6.
All WSLC-affiliated unions have been notified and urged to register now to participate.
The WSLC’s annual conference brings hundreds of working people to the State Capitol, offering union workers an opportunity to hear about the priority legislative issues facing Washington’s working families, get updates from elected leaders and union lobbyists, and meet with state senators, representatives, and staff to urge support for pro-worker legislation.
In a legislative session where labor will be urging our legislators to take bold action to tackle the affordability crisis by ensuring good wages, protecting workers on the job, and empowering more working people to organize for better pay and working conditions, a strong show of support for pro-worker legislation is all the more essential this year.
The 2025 Legislative Reception will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 at the Octapas Heritage Room in Olympia (610 Water St SW, Olympia, WA 98501), with the Legislation Conference the following morning starting at 10 a.m. at the Minnaert Center for Performing Arts (2011 Mottman Rd SW, Olympia, WA 98512).

Conference attendees are urged to register as soon as possible because early registration helps to secure appointments with legislative offices so attendees have an opportunity to connect directly with legislators.
Registration includes one ticket for the Legislative Reception; more tickets can be purchased at the registration page.
