TAKE A STAND!
Support 2,500 striking SF hotel workers
Stand with striking Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt workers in San Francisco fighting to keep their affordable union health care
SAN FRANCISCO (December 16, 2024) — Since Labor Day, more than 10,000 hotel workers have gone on strike in 11 cities, including in SeaTac. Workers have settled strikes and won great contracts in nearly every city, but not San Francisco. Hotel workers remain on strike, and health care is a major reason why.
Right now, around 2,500 UNITE HERE Local 2 members are on strike, and more strikes could begin soon. These workers have been on strike for 82 days, and they will stand strong and defend the health care their families need.

Striking through the holiday season is tough for workers and their families. But the workers aren’t backing down. As they prepare to hold the line into the new year, our union siblings in San Francisco are asking for out support.
