‘Rob McKenna: He’s Not Who He Says He Is’
The Real Rob McKenna isn’t who he says he is.
That’s the message delivered by Our Washington, a coalition representing more than 500,000 Washington state voters and their families, in a new TV ad, Facebook page and website highlighting Republican Rob McKenna’s real record on issues that affect middle-class voters.
The ad explains how, as Washington state attorney general, Republican McKenna issued a legal opinion opposing a 12-cent increase in the minimum wage — after he lobbied to increase his own taxpayer-funded salary by more than $10,000. Here’s it is:
McKenna is a candidate for Washington governor. The Our Washington coalition — which includes the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO — represents thousands of teachers, nurses, health care professionals and public workers.
