Join Jayapal for ‘CTCs: Recovery, Equity & Justice” on Aug. 12

All union members and other supporters of Washington state’s community and technical colleges (CTCs) are invited to join U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA, 7th), AFT Washington President Karen Strickland, and CTC students, faculty and administrators for “Community and Technical Colleges: Recovery, Equity & Justice,” a conversation about the role the CTCs will have during the post-COVID-19 economic recovery. It will be Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 1 to 2 p.m. PT. Register here.

The event has been organized by Communities for Our Colleges, a partnership between the Alliance for a Just Society, AFT Washington, and other community organizations advocating for CTCs with an eye towards public investment, racial equity, and economic equity.
