Fun, food and games — for a good cause

Sign up to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 12 with WSLC, your labor siblings

The following is from the WSLC:

SEATTLE (March 3, 2022) — As International Women’s Day approaches, the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO is gearing up to gather with our labor family and celebrate the power of working women! It’s been months since we’ve seen many of our siblings in the movement in-person. We’re so excited to gather outdoors with one another for an afternoon of fun, food, and games – all for a good cause!

Join us on Saturday, March 12 for Breaking Barriers: Challenge Course & Community Kickback!

The WSLC Women’s Committee has designed a 10-challenge obstacle course representing the barriers that working women face and overcome every day. This obstacle course was created for all abilities with a variety of mental, physical and creative challenges.

We all bring something different to the table; that’s why it’s so powerful when we work as a collective. Got a head for trivia? How about hula hoop skills? Or a touch of creative flair to share? Then this is the event for you!

Barrier Breakers celebrates womanhood in its many, complex forms. All are invited, regardless of gender, to join in this celebration!
