WSLC President April Sims featured on ‘Northwest Now’
TACOMA (March 28, 2023) — April Sims, President of the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, was just featured on the KBTC program Northwest Now, where she discusses young workers boosting union organizing, registered apprenticeship programs, non-compete contracts, how racial divisions are stoked to exploit the working class, and more.
The segment also features Peter Kuel, President of the Drivers Union/Teamsters 117, discussing recent pay raises and workplace protections won for rideshare drivers by their union.
