UAPD to picket multiple Indigo Urgent Care clinics Aug. 15-18

TACOMA (Aug. 11, 2023) — Clinics like Indigo Urgent Care are the backbone of the healthcare system. But they are experiencing provider shortages resulting in long patient wait times and staff burnout. A fair union contract that enables improvements in patient care would benefit both the provider and the patient.

The staff at the Indigo Urgent Care clinics need the labor community’s help in convincing MultiCare’s Board of Directors to bargain with these dedicated professionals in good faith and demonstrate their commitment to the people who provide the quality patient care Multicare represents.

TAKE A STAND — The Union of American Physicians and Dentists (UAPD) invites all union members and community supporters to attend the following informational pickets at Indigo Urgent Care clinics in Western Washington (see flyer for details):

TUESDAY, AUG. 15
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Federal Way Clinic, 31861 Gateway Blvd. South

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 16
10 a.m. – Noon — Marysville Clinic, 3822 116th St. NE
3 – 5 p.m. — Rainier Clinic, 3820 Rainier Ave. South, Seattle

THURSDAY, AUG. 17
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Kirkland Clinic, 12423 Totem Lake Blvd. NE
4 – 6 p.m. — Wallingford Clinic, 118 NE 45th St., Ste. A, Seattle

FRIDAY, AUG. 18
