Raise Up Washington seeks Campaign Manager for I-1433

16-Min-Wage-WA-logo-web(March 11, 2016) — Raise Up Washington has launched a statewide ballot initiative to raise Washington state’s minimum wage and provide workers with earned paid sick leave. The Raise Up Washington initiative, I-1433, will expand opportunity for 1 million Washingtonians — raising wages and providing common sense paid sick leave, key elements of a healthy economy and workforce.

The campaign is looking for an experienced campaign manager with a proven commitment to improving opportunity for all. Under the Executive Committee and campaign consultants, the campaign manager will be responsible for day-to-day implementation of the campaign plan. (PDF version of this job announcement.)

●  Implement strategic guidance from the Executive Committee and consultants
●  Coordinate activities of the Steering Committee, coalition partners, consultants, and campaign team
●  Work with consultants to coordinate paid media efforts, research, and polling
●  Work with treasurer and fundraiser to track campaign budget
●  Supervise all campaign staff
●  Oversee earned and social media
●  Oversee campaign field effort
●  Draft communication, endorsement, and outreach materials as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

●  Campaign management experience required, issue or initiative experience preferred
●  Experience managing coalitions required
●  Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills required
●  Experience overseeing polling, research, and paid media preferred
●  Must be willing to work long hours, evenings, and weekends
●  A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
●  Ability to work efficiently and positively in an action-oriented, fast-paced office
