WSLC hosts Pandemic Politics workshop series starting May 28

The Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO will host Pandemic Politics, a Common Sense Economics series of online workshops, beginning Thursday, May 28 from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. via Zoom video conferencing.

This first workshop will explore the role of government during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. What is organized labor’s vision for a government that works for working people and our communities? Participants will explore and discuss where government resources come from, how they are prioritized, and how we can take action to create an economy that works for everyone.

Common Sense Economics is a training and education program, conducted by and for union members and progressive allies, to educate working people on how our economy works and how actions and policies impact our economy.
